Questions about buying camping equipment from China

Answers to the questions we hear most. If yours is missing, write to us.

Orders, prices and minimums

Do you sell to private customers?

No. CampIQ is a B2B importer. We sell to outdoor shops, online sellers, brands, chains, wholesalers, campsites, rental companies, festival organisers and promotional agencies with a company and VAT number.

What is the minimum order?

Catalogue products can be ordered from the supplier’s minimum shown on each product page, which ranges from one unit to 1000 pieces depending on the model. Products with your logo or custom packaging start from about 300 pieces per model. Different products can be combined in one shipment.

How do I get prices?

Each product page shows an indicative “from” price. For delivered prices, send your product list, links or the catalogue items you are interested in. You receive a written offer within 2 working days.

Can I order samples?

Yes. Samples are charged at cost and credited against your first order. They reach the EU in 7–14 days.

What payment terms do you offer?

Usually a 30–50 % deposit and the balance before delivery. Regular partners can agree other terms.

When should I order for the camping season?

As a working guide: own-brand goods by the end of November or December, catalogue goods by January or February, allowing for Chinese New Year. Sales in Europe build from April and peak from May to August.

Private label and compliance

What is the minimum for private label?

From about 300 pieces per model, depending on the product and branding method.

Do tents and sleeping bags need CE marking?

The GPSR does not require CE, and we have not found a sector rule that applies CE to them, so we do not promise it. Electrical products and gas appliances are different. This is our reading rather than legal advice.

Are EN ISO 5912 and EN ISO 23537 mandatory?

As far as we can establish, they are voluntary standards that help you show a product is safe and its claims are sound. We use them as a basis for requesting data, and we do not claim a product is certified to them.

Do you sell gas stoves?

Not from the catalogue. Gas appliances come under Regulation (EU) 2016/426, and we consider them on request only, for models with an EU type-examination certificate.

Do you inspect orders?

Yes. We inspect the goods before shipment, and you get a report with photos.

Shipping, customs and VAT

How long does shipping take?

Sea or rail 25–45 days to Poland, air 7–12 days. Total from order to delivery is typically 8–12 weeks.

Can batteries and power stations be shipped?

Yes, under dangerous goods rules, with UN 38.3 data. The carrier and route are confirmed for each shipment.

Do I have to clear customs?

No. We import the goods into the EU and deliver them to you cleared.

Which VAT do I pay?

EU businesses outside Poland receive invoices with reverse charge; Polish companies are invoiced with Polish VAT.

Do you deliver outside the EU?

Yes, to the UK, Switzerland and Norway. Local rules differ, so we check documents for those markets separately.
