The season you are planning for
Camping sales in Europe build from April and peak from May to August. The exact curve differs by country and product, so treat this as a working guide and compare it with your own sales data if you have any.
What takes the time
- Written offer: 2 working days
- Samples to the EU: 7–14 days, plus any time for changes
- Production: 25–45 days
- Sea or rail to Poland: 25–45 days
- From order to your warehouse: 8–12 weeks
Working order dates for a spring launch
| Type of order | Place the order by | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Own-brand goods | End of November–December | Samples and mock-ups have to be approved, ideally before the factory holidays |
| Catalogue goods | January–February | No branding, but the factory closure still falls in this window |
| Bulky goods by sea | Towards the early end of those dates | Sea takes the longer end of the transit range |
Factory holidays in January–February
In 2027 the main factory holiday falls in early February. Factories slow down in the run-up and can take weeks to return to full output, and freight space gets tighter beforehand. Agree on what must be finished before the break, particularly sample approval and material purchases.
If you are already late
- Choose catalogue products over custom ones
- Split the order: light goods by air, bulky goods by sea or rail
- Use a European stock supplier for the first weeks of the season, and bring your own imports in for the peak
- Cut the range to the items you are sure of
Autumn is for next year
Use September and October to review what sold and returned, choose the next range and start samples. Our how it works page shows the timeline step by step, or send us your date and we will check what is realistic.
