Does the environmental marking apply to B2B packaging too?
Yes. Material identification applies to all packaging placed on the Italian market, including outer cartons. Sorting information for consumers applies to packaging that reaches households.
Do I need to join CONAI?
Businesses that import packaged goods into Italy and sell them are usually CONAI members and pay the environmental contribution. When we deliver to you from Poland, check your position with CONAI; we provide packaging weights by material.
Can the marking be on a QR code?
The Italian guidelines allow digital tools such as QR codes for part of the information. We agree with you what goes on the pack and what goes online.
Do you deliver to Sicily and Sardinia?
Yes. Transit is longer and freight costs more because of the ferry, so we quote it separately.
Do you sell to Italian consumers?
No. We supply businesses only.
